Augustana Hosts Service for Christian Unity

Can love be greater than division?

“If love is merely sentimentality or a “going along to get along” then it’s not much of a match against the forces of division. But if we look at the life of Jesus revealed through the stories of the New Testament, we see a love at work that is extraordinarily powerful…”

Pastor Scott Brill, Executive Director, The Initiative

On Saturday, January 21 at 5:30 pm, Augustana hosts a prayer service for Christian unity, in partnership with Catholics, Evangelicals, Orthodox and other Protestants. This is an important step in living intentionally in unity with Christians from other backgrounds, building friendships in Christ, so that the love of Christ might exceed our divisions.
