Worship is central to Augustana.  In worship, we receive grace, build community, and grow spiritually.  At Augustana, worship is active, involving our entirety – intellects, bodies and senses.

We return to in-person worship on Sunday May 23rd at 9:30 am, when we celebrate the Festival of Pentecost! Our congregation will continue to meet in-person at 9:30 am on Sundays through the summer. In the summer, Augustana doesn’t hold Sunday School or Adult Education classes.

During the pandemic, we offered a weekly pre-recorded worship service via YouTube. Beginning on Pentecost, we will livestream the 9:30 am in-person Sunday service on Facebook for those who are homebound, far away or not yet ready to come back in person.

To join us virtually, please go to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/augustanahydepark  All you need is a computer, smartphone or tablet with an internet connection to watch the livestream; you do not need to have a Facebook account. A recording of the livestream will be posted on the Augustana YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJx11DVBbs41v1UJ1EhGGyw) later in the day.
