Worship for the Third Sunday in Lent

This Lent, our Confession of Sin falls at the end of the Prayers of the People and just before the celebration of the meal, tying the proclamation of forgiveness to the tangible sign of forgiveness in the Sacrament of the Altar.

We also continue to hear stories from the Hebrew Scriptures that are not normally in the lectionary, stories that may be unfamiliar to us. Today, we hear the story of Ruth.

Thank you to this week’s lector, Carolyn Rahaman, and to Joe Klonowski, who sings the Kyrie, and to videographer Connor Freeman. Padraig McGuire serves as cantor, Campus Pastor Matthew Stuhlmuller presides, and Divinity School Intern Connor Freeman preaches.
