On Sunday, September 22, Care Lawrence will join Esther Menn to discuss “Resistance in World War II.” This will be the second session in the series that started with Bruce Tammen and Esther discussing Poland, Ukraine, and the Nazi death camps of World War II.
Part 3 will take place September 29 with a discussion on “Never Forget: Memorializing the 1919 Chicago Race Riot.” The series will end October 6 with “Resistance in the USA: The ELCA Statement on Immigration,” bringing the topic of the treatment of minorities into our current times.
