This past Sunday, Augustana began serving drip coffee from Build Coffee & Books in Woodlawn. This change was done in order to shop local and bring a better coffee experience to members of the congregation (and because the new Admin wouldn’t stop complaining).
Counter Culture Hologram blend coffee is both delicious and mission aligned. Our new coffee is sourced from a company that considers Fair Trade to be “the bare minimum”, with an emphasis on treating all people throughout the growing and manufacturing process with the respect they deserve, paying well instead of just fairly, and being good stewards of the earth.
