We are excited to welcome our newest team member, Joely Faren King! Jo is a member of Augustana and brings experience in communications and social media. Her first day in the office is Thursday, September 10. Here are a few words from Jo herself:
Joely Faren King, who goes by Jo, came to Hyde Park for a graduate program in Sociology at UChicago which she completed in 2024. She loved Hyde Park so much she decided to stick around; and when not at Augustana you can usually find her at First Aid Comics, Fiber Friends Studios, Build Coffee & Books, Jimmy’s, or Barnes & Noble. Originally from Kansas City, she’s a big Chiefs fan, who has a work history in social media and communications. She’s very excited to start this position and is honored to have been trusted with it.
