Last Friday, sixteen Augustana community members joined the congregation at KAM Isaiah Israel for dinner followed by a Shabbat service. Pastor Goede preached and shared our experience of using drama to explore the story of the Exodus, a story central to both Christian and Jewish faiths. You may read her sermon here.
KAM Isaiah Israel’s rabbi, Fred Reeves, will preach at Augustana on Sunday April 30th, and Augustana will host a lunch for members of the synagogue who join us that day.
