On Sunday January 1, Augustana celebrates the Holy Name of Jesus. This festival is celebrated eight days after Christmas, because Jewish law required baby boys to be circumcised and named on the eighth day after their birth. There will be only one service this Sunday, at 10:45 am and no education hour.
