This is the recording of the livestream of the funeral for Shelley Barnard. If you didn’t have the chance to join us and would like to, you may watch it here. We started in the nave for the funeral, then processed to the columbarium where her ashes were spread.
Matthew Stuhlmuller presided, Nancy Goede preached and presided at the spreading of the ashes, Padraig McGuire served as cantor. Thanks to Joe Klonowski for live streaming the service.
There was a lovely arc to the last three days as we returned to in-person worship at Augustana – a wedding, Pentecost and funeral. It was good to celebrate Shelley’s life even as we mourn her death with Christopher Barnard, Sandy Barnard, Sue Luppert, Jacob Barnard and Arrow Barnard.
