Amplify Love

Yesterday at several locations around Hyde Park, many people noticed and photographed antisemitic messages scratched on public signs, postal boxes and underpass pillars, graffitied words of hate directed at Jews. They shared their concerns on social media, and now those photos have received hundreds of thousands of views, including by those who want to amplify messages of hate.

Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park condemns antisemitism in every form and we stand with our Jewish neighbors. We give thanks for their collaboration with us in the Hyde Park-Kenwood Interfaith Council, for their work in serving those in need in our area, and for the spiritual heritage that Jews and Christians share.

We encourage everyone who sees this message to find a way to share your own message of solidarity with our Jewish neighbors. Help amplify love!
