RSVP for Luther’s Taproom

RSVP for the Summer Picnic Edition of Luther’s Taproom on Friday, July 25th at 6:30 pm. Hosted at Augustana in Hyde Park (55th and Woodlawn), open to anyone interested in good beer, great company and important conversations

The conversation for this session will be on pilgrimage. Led by Pastor Nancy Goede, she will engage us in a discussion of pilgrimage as a spiritual (and travel) practice, share her recent pilgrimage to sites in Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham associated with the Rev. Dr. Martin L. King Jr.. and help us think about pilgrimages we might undertake.

We’re tapping an American-style Pale Ale. Hoppy with a firm bitterness, dry and easy to drink – made for warm summer evenings.

Main course will be hot dogs with a variety of fixings. Pot luck portion will be picnic side dishes, salads, desserts. You don’t need to bring an item to attend!

Parents, if you want to come for the beer and dinner portion and then take the kiddos home for bed before the conversation, that is totally fine – we’d love to have you join us!

We welcome anyone, wherever you are on your faith journey – Lutheran, other Christian, other faiths, spiritual, seeking, agnostic or atheist. Everyone is welcome.
