As announced earlier, former Augustana member John Albright died in early April. John (the son of a Lutheran pastor) and his wife Carol were active in leading adult education programs at Augustana. They moved to a retirement community a few years ago and joined their local congregation, Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest. Carol preceded John in death. LSTC, where John was a visiting professor, published an in memoriam for John at this link (scroll down).
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 5 pm, at Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 Division Street in River Forest. Visitation will also be at the church, at 4 pm.
