Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park

You are invited to visit the City of Refuge art exhibit featuring works by Venezuelan migrant artists Yeison Perez and Juan Carlos Silva. The exhibit addresses issues engaging from concept of refuge and the artists’ experience of Chicago. The exhibit is in Augustana’s Nave and runs through May 31.

As host of the exhibit, Augustana hopes it presents an opportunity for the Augustana and Hyde Park communities to reflect on Jesus’ call to love our neighbors and to welcome the straqnger, as our nation struggles with issues related to immigration and poverty.
