Female Theological Poets Mary Sidney and Amelia Lanier

Mary Sidney and Amelia Lanier were contemporaries in Elizabethan England, and two
of the most interesting women poets in their day. Much of their work is interacting
with theological and biblical themes, and we’ll study some of their writings in the
Augustana Adult Forum on March 23, 30, and April 6. The forum meets on Sunday mornings, in the
conference room from 9:45 to 10:30. These sessions will be led by Elizabeth Schoen.Â
