A year ago, Augustana received notice that our grant proposal to the city to install a new roof and solar panels was approved. We are delighted to share that, on January 31st, Augustana received a contract from the city to move ahead with the project – this is terrific news as we celebrate this milestone in Augustana’s response to God’s call to live as good stewards of the creation.
Unfortunately, we didn’t received the contract until after the Annual Meeting in January. The contract requires congregational action. The city has set a deadline of February 23 for us to submit an executed contract, so the council is calling a special congregational meeting for February 16 following the second service.
