Most summers, Augustana hosts one youth group, via Youth Works, traveling to Chicago. Last week, we had a large group from Iowa, that included 25 young people from five different towns and churches.
This summer, instead of one group, Augustana will host a total of four youth groups visiting Chicago, including a group that will be with us in worship this Sunday. When they stay with us, the groups bring air mattresses and cots, and use the fellowship hall, Gustavus Adolphus room and Nave for meals, worship and space for programs and conversations.
