Pentecost

Pentecost, traditionally one of the two most important Holy Days on our calendar, is celebrated this year on May 19.  This year, we mark this celebration of the descending of the Holy Spirit onto the apostles and the beginning of the church with:

The 40-year Journey: A Mixed-Media Performance in Clay, Construction Paper, and Popsicle Sticks

Please join our Sunday-schoolers on May 19, during the start of the education hour, for a performance of the Isrealites’ journey through Sinai!  There will be plenty of stick puppets, an impressive model of Mount Sinai, and a very shiny Ark.  This brief but memorable performance is anticipated to be 5 – 10 minutes.  Please come see us upstairs in Room 1 after first service!
