Members of the Augustana community have two opportunities to help support our shared lives together – one socially, the other in worship:

Fellowship Hour

During the education hour (starting at 9:30am) and after the second service (approximately 11:45 am), we have coffee service and snacks out in the fellowship hall, for anyone who would like to volunteer to set up, bring snacks and clean up afterwards. Augustana will reimburse volunteers up to $25 to cover the cost of any snacks or desserts you bring. Reading in Worship

We are setting up the lector schedule for the first half of 2024 now, starting in January. If you are not currently on the reading schedule and would like to be, please sign up in the narthex or send an email to office@augustanahydepark.org. Please indicate whether you attend the early or later service.

The deadline to sign up is Sunday, 12/17, after that, everyone who wants to participate in worship this way will receive the schedule and adjustments can be made. If you are scheduled to read on a Sunday, you will receive an email on the Tuesday before, both to remind you and to share the two readings for that week.
