Last week, the National Cathedral dedicated its new Now and Forever Windows, capturing the resilience, faith and endurance of African Americans and our nation’s struggle with the original sins of racism and slavery. These window replaced windows that had previously honored Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. Through this new addition, the Cathedral strives to tell a broader, more inclusive story of American history. In this House of Prayer for All People, we want to tell the stories of all people.
Go the Cathedral’s website to view the windows, learn about the artist, and view a behind-the-scenes video about the project. https://cathedral.org/discover/programs/racial-social-justice/windows/documentary/
