Message from Our New Cantor!

Hello, Augustana! My name is Michael Terry Caraher and I am thrilled to be starting as the Cantor Director of Music on October 1st! Making intentional music is one of the greatest parts of being in a community, such as Augustana, and I hope you’ll join me in making music every Sunday morning.

As I start my role at Augustana, we WILL be having choir(!) and rehearsals will be immediately following the 8:30am service in the choir loft. To gauge how much music that needs to be prepared/distributed, please email the cantor email (cantor@augustanahydepark.org) and let me know that you’ll be joining us! All are welcome to join.

If you have any questions regarding participating in the choir or other music making here at Augustana, please don’t hesitate to reach out and I look forward to hearing from you!

Peace,
Michael
