The Green Team recently worked on our community composting and wrote this announcement:
Please consider putting food waste in our compost bucket (below sink) which we take to our larger bins outside when full. One bin is located out the west entrance off the kitchen through the gate on the south side. The key to this gate is in the cabinet above the knives in the kitchen. The other compost bin is in our trash enclosure off the parking lot. Either is welcome!

If you’d like to compost at home but don’t have much outdoor room, check out Urban Canopy, a southside effort that has a ‘Composting Club’ where they will provide you a five gallon sealable bucket to be filled with food waste and then pick it up every two weeks, leaving a clean bucket for you.
