This weekend we will spend time reflecting on our church to especially highlight how Augustana does hospitality well, and identifying areas of improvement.
On Saturday June 17th following the Community Breakfast (to which everyone is still invited to attend and/or volunteer for), around 10:15am until no later than 12pm, we will gather for analysis and reflection especially of our physical site.
We will also gather Sunday June 18th following the 9:30 worship for a discussion of Sunday morning practices, before, during, and after worship. Please consider joining for one or both days. We will also conclude before 12pm on Sunday and will gather for both sessions in the Gustavus Adolphus Room.
Simple refreshments will be provided at both events. All you need to bring is yourself and a curious, empathetic spirit, as we seek to continue to expand our welcome and hospitality in Christ’s name.
The insights from this weekend will be compiled into a report by Intern Kyle and shared with the church council and reside with the Evangelism through Hospitality Committee for discernment and implementation.
